is pretty close, and can make you cry if you’re not careful with that knife or cleaver you might be watching the clock and slip and cut off your ring finger and lose your ring or you might not hear the ringing in your earphones or not hear the door open and mistake the reaper for the bot with the pizza who you forgot to tip your hat to which you still might imagine gave you back the finger that you lost when you cut your onion with all its layers of meaning only what it may mean at the moment you were mindful of the moment as if you meant to remember it like one of Wordsworth’s spots of time even if you never knew of the term before you read it carved ever so carefully in a tree planted somewhere on the outskirts of last night’s dream as if it were some kind of love token you’ll so soon take for wishes granted when the genie appears and hands you an onion.
