About the writer

Karen is a social worker by day and a yoga/pilates/ukulele/piano playing being at night. Karen has a degree in English literature and has taken creative writing courses at the University of Winnipeg and through McNally Robinson bookstore’s classroom program. She has won an award for writing through the University of Winnipeg and sees herself as an emerging writer who has had some of her poetry published.
